Biden in Belfast

One of the latest visitors to #CathedralQuarterBelfast was none other than the President of the United States (POTUS)!

President Joe Biden visited Ulster University’s new Belfast campus and delivered a keynote address in what he described as a ‘cathedral of learning, built of glass’. He made the contrast with his 1991 visit to the Cathedral Quarter neighbourhood, highlighting the development which had taken place.

He also welcomed the City’s thriving ‘commerce, arts, and inspiration’ – a perfect summary of the Cathedral Quarter ethos!
