CQ BID Launches CPR Lifesaver Workshops exclusively for its members
One of CQ BID’s missions is to make the Cathedral Quarter and its surrounding areas as inviting as possible by creating the cleanest, safest and most welcoming environment for visitors, whether they are here to socialise, work, shop or stay.
With this in mind we are pleased to announce a new First Aid safety drive where we want to raise the number of emergency responders available in the CQ BID area by offering free training in CPR and other lifesaving skills for businesses and their staff within the CQ BID area.
We’ve partnered with Staff Training NI to create a bespoke series of “CPR Lifesaver Workshops” open to all our members. Attendees only need to devote one hour of their time and they will leave the session having learned and practiced key lifesaving skills such as CPR, use of an AED (Defib) and responses to choking incidents.
Our first CPR Lifesaver Workshop is happening on 20th June 2024 in the Merchant Hotel where we aim to train over 100 people. There are 6 one-hour time slots to choose from, available on a first come first served basis, exclusively for CQ BID members. You must work for a CQ BID business to avail of this training, please contact info@destinationcq.com if you wish to check if you are eligible.
