A social media geek for over 20 years. For 15 years, Ruth worked mainly in the not-for-profit sector, but also in roles working in and alongside the public and private sectors. Each position required her to utilise social media to build the organisation’s profile, engage with supporters and customers, encourage donations and volunteer support, or boost sales and find business opportunities.
Ruth was pretty successful at building active and engaged digital communities for her employers and taught herself which platforms were best for each organisation’s needs, discovered tricks of the trade for boosting engagement and visibility, and learned to optimise profiles by tweaking settings and polishing online profiles.
All of this is now applied in what she does through Ruthless Media in partnership with Excalibur Press supporting our clients through paid ads campaign marketing, and solving social media issues in the back end management of accounts.
