Restaurants throughout Cathedral Quarter are being encouraged to register to take part in National Steak Day on April 25th. The day is being marked across the UK and Ireland, with each restaurant offering a 25% discount on one steak on their menu, or a special menu with added value for the customer.

Backed by SevenRooms, the hospitality data and marketing platform, National Steak Day defined aim is to showcase the fantastic steak restaurants across the UK: “local heroes who are championing incredible produce and delivering fantastic steaks to their customers.”

It is bringing together restaurants who serve the very best steak in order to cement this day in the nation’s minds. By creating an alliance with renowned steak restaurants, they will ensure that lovers of steak receive only the best and most exciting steak available.

Steak businesses will receive their own dedicated page on the National Steak Day website which will showcase their steak offerings. The website will be available all year round with participants being able to add menus and news throughout the year.

Restaurants can extend their offer to last a week or even the month of April as customer feedback last year was that they wanted to visit more than one restaurant and they were limited to just one day.

Founder Nathan Evans said: “We had a fantastic number of restaurants who signed up last year and this year we are looking to expand our reach
“We know there are incredible steak restaurants across the UK and we want them to sign up so we can promote the fantastic work they are doing.”

National Steak Day is aiming to have over 800 restaurants signed up by the end of March and their key focus is outside of London – it is free for restaurants to sign up and they can do so here: www.nationalsteakday.com/your-venue/
