14th Jun 2022 in Business
Some of Belfast’s brightest entrepreneurs are gearing up for an insightful look into the people and companies shaping the future of innovation in Northern Ireland as part of Digital DNA Belfast today and tomorrow, Tuesday 14th June and Wednesday 15th June.
Hosted by Raise Ventures, Clockwise, and Ormeau Baths, the Digital DNA Belfast Hub Crawl later today will consist of a guided walking tour of Belfast’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, allowing those participating to connect with others on their own entrepreneurial journeys and meet those shaping industry today.
Beginning at the StartUp Zone at St George’s Market from 3.30pm today, the event will highlight both current hubs of innovation and historic landmarks. It will provide drinks and light bites for participants throughout the evening as the Hub Crawl first makes its way to the historic Ormeau Baths, which in 2017 became a coworking space for tech start-ups in Northern Ireland with over 200 members.
The tour will then continue on as participants visit the Clockwise workspace located in the Cathedral Quarter, where pizza and a look at the office space will be provided, in addition to hearing stories from its start-up community.
The final stop on the entrepreneurial trail will be at Raise Ventures, which supports start-ups by offering a free start-up accelerator programme and aims to assist in innovation and help start-up founders raise investments. This part of the evening will involve late-night networking and drinks before ending the night at the iconic Duke of York in the centre of the Cathedral Quarter.
Destination Cathedral Quarter BID are sponsoring the event, which is free to attend for all those seeking to learn more about the innovation occurring in Belfast and looking for inspiration.
