On 26th October 2024, the Worker Protection Act was amended in GB, introducing a legal duty for employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. While this duty does not yet apply in Northern Ireland, it is considered best practice and strongly encouraged for all employers.
This practical, half day course on Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace is designed for managers and HR professionals. It provides the knowledge and tools needed to create and maintain a safe, respectful working environment and align with evolving legal and ethical expectations.

• Understanding sexual harassment, including key definitions and examples of unwanted conduct
• Updated laws, including the Equality Act and employer responsibilities
• Identifying inappropriate behaviours and comments, both in the workplace and online
• Employer best practices for preventing harassment
• Risk assessments, including third-party harassment considerations
• Conducting internal investigations, both formal and informal
