Lifesaving Defibrillator Installed at The R.A.O.B. Club

As part of our strategy to make Cathedral Quarter the safest part of the City Centre, CQ BID has delivered our latest public defibrillator (AED) outside The R.A.O.B. Club beside Writers Square. In addition to providing and installing the machine the BID has trained several cohorts in the effective use of them, increasing rapid emergency response in the area. AEDs significantly improve survival rates in cardiac emergencies, and this installation provides easy access in a high-footfall location.

Our aim is that within the next year you will never be more than 200 metres away from an accessible AED whilst in Cathedral Quarter. We have the next venues in planning, but if you have a location in mind, feel free to contact us at info@destinationcq.com.
