15th Feb 2019 in Food & Drink

Belfast Restaurant Week has officially launched, offering meal deals, discounts and events across the city, as well as The Big Belfast Brunch.

Eating out

With over 25 restaurants taking part in Restaurant Week’s 2 course deal across BT1 and BT2, we really are spoilt for choice. Between 18th and 24th February, some of your favourite eateries will be offering 2 courses for either £10 or £15. Rather than waiting until the weekend to get out and about in CQ Belfast, why not have a cheeky school night meal out and let someone else do the mid-week dishes for once?

Foodie fun

There is a packed programme of events taking place, and the CQ is right at the heart of them! The Great Room in The Merchant Hotel is offering a five-course tasting menu throughout Restaurant Week; Bullitt hosts their first ever Food Fair on 23rd February, and some of the Cathedral Quarter’s best chefs will be taking part in foodie workshops and demos at St George’s Market. Keep an eye on the programme page for updates as they happen!

The Big Belfast Brunch

Belfast is cementing its reputation as a hot spot for a tasty brunch and this year’s Restaurant Week celebrates this. We’re shining a light on those who go the extra mile to offer unique, creative, value for money brunch options in a city that is increasingly discerning with its food choices. We want imaginative recipes, locally sourced and fresh ingredients, plus a range of dietary requirements catered for, including vegan and gluten free options. You won’t be disappointed with the choice of eateries showcased here.

Keep an eye on the website for more fabulous food features over the coming days, as well as our social media channels – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We’d love you to tag us in any pics while you’re out and about in the Cathedral Quarter sampling the menus during Restaurant Week, as well as using the #BRW19 and #CQBelfast hashtags.
